This design is inspired by Sparrow House in Memphis—a collaborative project between Our Rescue and We Fight Monsters. Sparrow House reflects a shared commitment to creating safe, restorative spaces where survivors of trafficking and their children can find stability, support, and community. Like the sparrow, it represents protection, resilience, and the courage to begin again.
The spirit of these earrings is also shaped by the courageous journeys of survivors like Yati and Li Fen. Yati, who escaped trafficking and later returned to red-light districts alongside Eden’s Outreach team, used her voice to offer hope to women still trapped in exploitation. Her bravery helped inspire escapes like Li Fen’s—trafficked at just fourteen, Li Fen seized a moment of courage, fled her captors, and began a new life through Eden’s care, counseling, and family reunification.
Each pair is handcrafted by survivors through Eden, providing dignified employment and a pathway toward healing, stability, and independence.
