The Story Behind the Bracelet
At eleven years old, Su Su left school to help support her family by working in a factory. But despite the long hours, the wages were never enough. So when her boss offered her what sounded like a better opportunity in China, she believed it could change her future.
Instead, Su Su was trafficked across the border and sold as a bride.
After being locked in a hotel room for days, she made the courageous decision to escape. Anti-trafficking officials helped her return safely to Myanmar, where social services connected her with Eden. It was there she discovered she was pregnant.
Su Su chose to fully embrace the Eden program, where she began counseling, learned jewelry-making skills, and prepared to build a new life for herself and her baby.
Today, her story is one of resilience, healing, and new beginnings. The Walk on Water Cuff Bracelet carries that spirit forward, serving as a reminder to step forward in faith and courage even when the way ahead feels uncertain.
